Power failure is one of the most common causes of system unavailability and data corruption. Data Electronics offer a 100% availability service level agreement (SLA) covering power to our clients systems.
Every element of our electrical infrastructure is in place to a minimum of N+1 with N+2 being standard in many core areas. UPS in N+3 configuration in our Northwest Business Park centre will be UPS in N+4 configuration in phase two.
Power density in Kilcarbery Park and Northwest Business Park is 1.2kw per sq.m and 1kw per sq.m respectively.
There are multiple redundant generators in both data centres that can deliver unlimited power to satisfy each sites requirements. In addition, fully redundant power feeds (A & B) to each client's cabinet(s) with a delivery of 32 individual power outlets per cabinet are totally metered.
Each of these feeds is fed direct from totally independent Power Distribution Units (PDU’s), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (USP’s), Generators and Transformers.
