Daniel Tinkiel joined Data Electronics in 2002. He has recently been promoted from Chief Technology Officer to Chief Operating Officer.

Daniel is responsible for the overall operations of Data Electronics. He is currently heading the expansion of Data Electronics facility at Kilcarbery Park. As Chief Technology Officer he was responsible for the running of all the company’s' data centre facilities and was in charge of technical development and implementation of new products and services.

Daniel is a former Professor of Electronics at the University of Buenos Aires. He was the Chief Technical Officer at ASSA Group, one of Latin America's premier software companies and prior to his arrival in Dublin, headed operations at Optiglobe, the largest independent data centre operator in Latin America.
